On the 15 August the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Communications proposed the Broadcast Amendment Bill after a day of public hearings and several days of deliberations. The IPO made its own submission and endorsed the submission by the Civil Society Coalition: SAVE OUR SABC - RECLAIMING OUR PUBLIC BROADCASTER!
