Launch of the SA Film and TV Production Incentives

After intense communications between the IPO and the Department of Trade and Industry in January, the IPO received the good news of the launch of the SA Film and TV Production Incentives. The IPO/TPA Working Group held numerous meetings with representatives of the DTI during 2007 and after a process of consultation with members, submitted recommendations from the industry. The revised film and TV production rebate and the new SA film and TV production rebate, effective from 1 Feb 2008, has been welcomed by members of the Task Team.
